1. Who we are
Massif Living is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. Company details: [legal company name], tax number (NIF) [number], registered at [address]. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@massifliving.com.
2. What data we collect
When you contact us through the form or by email, we collect the details you provide: name, email, country of residence, phone (optional), the type of project, your timeframe and your message.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider records technical data such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure. Typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address for that purpose.
3. How we use it
We use your data to:
- Reply to your enquiry and prepare any possible collaboration (pre-contractual steps and your consent);
- Keep the site secure and working properly (legitimate interest);
- Meet legal obligations, where applicable.
We never sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing without your explicit consent.
4. Who we share it with
Your data is processed by service providers that support us, namely website hosting and form handling (Netlify) and our email service. If you decide to go ahead with a project, we only share what is necessary with the professionals involved (for example lawyers or architects), with your agreement.
5. International transfers
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. In those cases, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case we keep it for as long as the relationship and applicable legal obligations require.
7. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict the processing of your data, to object to it, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to hello@massifliving.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.
8. Cookies
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
